Rules
There are no prohibited items but we do ask that all patrons be respectful and conduct themselves as follows:
- No touching artifacts or works of art. Your touch may not seem like much, but even the slightest contact can damage the surface of a painting, discolor stone, and even rust metal.
- No leaning on walls/cases. This helps keep works of art hung on the walls or displayed in cases safe.
- No food, drink, or gum is allowed in the museum.
- No running, pushing, or roughhousing in the museum.
- Photography: We welcome visitors to take photos/videos of works of art for personal use only. Please be aware that occasionally a “no photography” symbol on a label adjacent to a work of art indicates that photography is prohibited for that work. No flash, please!

Our menu offers classic American dishes with a twist, made with locally-sourced ingredients. Start your day with our signature breakfast plates, like our buttermilk pancakes or country eggs Benedict.
Our lunch menu features a range of burgers, sandwiches, and salads, all made with the freshest ingredients that are sure to delight. And on Sundays, our soon to be famous brunch offers a variety of family-style served items of the Chef’s choice that are included with your entrée selection.

Can you rent the cafe?
Space is limited to parties of 60 or less. There is a room rental charge, gratuity, taxes and retail prices for food and drinks. The café can only be rented during the hours in which it is not open to the public.
When is the museum open?
The museum is open the same hours as the cafe.
Is there a charge to visit the museum?
No. Admission is free.
Is the building handicapped accessible?
Yes. There is a ramp at the corner of 12th St and Sam Houston Ave (this is the closest one) and the front door is easily accessible with a wheelchair. There are NO designated handicapped parking spots in the downtown area. If you need assistance, please let us know and we will be happy to help.
Do you have a kid’s menu?
Yes, but it is not published. It is a simple kid-friendly menu that our servers will gladly share with you.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes! The majority of our menu items are already gluten-free and the items that aren’t can be modified within reason. We make all of our dressings, sauces and salads in house so we can accommodate most dietary needs. Feel free to discuss any requests or restrictions with your server and make us aware of any allergies you might have.
Do you have “to-go” or “take out” available?
You are welcome to order food “to-go”. We are not offering an online ordering option yet and remember that our dine in guests receive our attention first. However, we are happy to accommodate you.
Do you take reservations?
Yes. Please use our website to direct you to our “Toast reservation system” or we also use “Open Table.”
Do you serve dinner?
Yes! We are open for dinner Thurs-Sat 5:00-9:00pm
Do you serve alcohol?
Yes. We have a fine selection of house wines, beer and a full bar menu.
Do you have specialty coffee?
Yes! We would love for you to visit us and have a specialty coffee of your choice and a fresh pastry. Grab and go in the mornings is encouraged. Make everyone in your office jealous by showing up with one of our Caramel Macchiatos and a Chocolate Croissant. Office party? Let us know and we can provide you with fresh brewed bulk coffee, and pastries. Please be sure to order ahead!

Absolutely. If you would like any of our recipes the Chef is happy to share them with you via email.
